Technology and the Stone Age; Introduction to Google Earth

Today we discussed History Video #1 and the role of technology in our lives, including the original technological advances made by Stone Age people:

We also continued our discussion of geography. The 6th grade history class focuses on people and events located around the Mediterranean Sea. In order to begin learning about the geography of this part of the world, we will spend time exploring the Mediterranean area on Google Earth.
